Five decades of 3 royal warrants called for a site to fit the history.
Halcyon Days is a one of only fourteen companies to hold all three Royal Warrants and is the only supplier of Objets d’Art. The brand was founded in 1950 as an emporium of antique gifts in Mayfair, London. Today the company has evolved into a lifestyle brand. They continue to create their signature enamel pieces but are now known as the destination for luxury gifts, English fine bone china and fashion accessories.
When Halcyon Day's first approached us they had an existing eCommerce site running on a proprietary system. The design felt a little dated and heavily used the darker brand colours. After presenting some stats on session duration and site usage that were in favor of lighter coloured websites we agreed with the Owner & Creative Director this was a small design change that would see vast improvements for their customers and conversion. Due to the brands rich history it was important to adhere to the colour guidelines but by limiting the areas they feature we achieved a website that's clear to read and enhances their already stunning product range.
Since we launched the website in 2014 we have worked closely with Halcyon Days improving the front-end, streamlining process and launching multiple new store fronts:
