  1. The Challenge

    Strathberry is renowned for its signature design details and craftsmanship-led approach, but online, the brand’s experience wasn’t fully reflecting its distinct aesthetic or luxury positioning. As the brand grew internationally, the challenge was to evolve its digital presence to convey a more elevated and immersive brand story, while meeting the expectations of a discerning global audience and maintaining strong commercial performance.

  1. Our Approach

    The project was guided by a deep understanding of the brand’s desired aesthetic and its discerning customer base. We combined qualitative research, customer journey analysis and collaborative workshops with the Strathberry team to shape a design strategy that truly reflected the brand vision. The physical retail experience was a key influence, we set out to capture the same sense of craft, refinement and attention to detail that defines their stores, ensuring the digital experience felt equally elevated and immersive for a global audience.

  2. The Results

    The project created a stronger connection between digital and physical retail, ensuring the online store now reflects the care, detail and atmosphere of Strathberry’s boutiques. The redesign not only strengthened the brand’s luxury positioning but increased the time customers were spending on the site whilst reducing unnecessary interactions for an immersive shopping experience.

Every aspect of the design was carefully refined to elevate the brand experience. The overall colour palette was updated, drawing inspiration from the tones and textures of Strathberry’s flagship townhouse stores to create a warm, sophisticated digital environment.

We introduced new typography and a completely new art direction was established, balancing refined minimalism with editorial richness to better showcase the products and communicate the craft at the heart of the brand.

We introduced rich, interactive features that elevate the online shopping experience while supporting confident purchase decisions, from immersive videos demonstrating what fits inside each bag to interactive visuals showcasing compatibility with everyday tech essentials.

Every detail was considered to reflect Strathberry’s refined aesthetic while making the experience of choosing and buying feel effortless, engaging and premium.

Every bag is meticulously handcrafted in Spain, in the same ateliers as some of the world’s most revered luxury brands, yet this craftsmanship and heritage weren’t being fully communicated online.

We designed a storytelling layer that sits seamlessly alongside the shopping experience, rich content that reveals the artistry, materials and techniques behind each product, but always in a way that feels complimentary and unobtrusive

Dynamic Content

We created flexible, interactive components that allow Strathberry to showcase everything from collaborations like Shrimps to moments of cultural relevance, such as when royalty is spotted carrying their bags. These sections blend product, storytelling and UGC in a way that feels editorial and elevated, giving the brand a dynamic toolkit to keep content fresh and engaging across the site.
